Your privacy is very important to me. At Baked Glass Creations I have a few fundamental principles that I follow:
- I won’t ask you for personal information unless I truly need it.

- I won’t store personal information unless required for the on-going operation of my business.
Information I Collect
Gathering of Non-Personally-Identifying Information
Like most website operators, Baked Glass Creations collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Baked Glass Creations purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Baked Glass Creations’ visitors use its website.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Baked Glass Creations’ websites choose to interact with Baked Glass Creations in ways that require me to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Baked Glass Creations gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, I ask visitors who comment on my blog to provide a username and email address. For those who wish to receive updates via email, I collect their emails. In each case, Baked Glass Creations collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Baked Glass Creations. Baked Glass Creations does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. I do not receive any credit card or bank details. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order of jewellery, for example), if you contact me directly, or subscribe to my email newsletter.
Baked Glass Creations may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites. However, Baked Glass Creations does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
- as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
- when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;
- if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and

If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely separately, alternatively, and independently on the following legal bases to transfer your information:
The European Commission has adopted standard contractual clauses (also known as Model Clauses), which provide safeguards for personal information that is transferred outside of Europe. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
- Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
