International Glass Festival

craft markets, creative inspiration, events, recycled window glass, upcycled glass

The international festival of glass is next weekend in Stourbridge.  Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it, but if you love glass this is a great event to go to.  There will be exhibits by well know and emerging artist that are astounding to see, plus workshops, talk and taster sessions.  I’d love to go to the talk by the last real glass eye maker in the UK but sadly have commitments on my time here in Scotland.

I’ve added my two cents worth though. The Amblecote Wordsley Methodist Church will be adorned by a huge stretch of glass bunting made up of flags contributed by hundreds of fused glass makers from around the world and a photo gallery and message from those who have contributed on the theme ‘Glass for Good’.

These are the three bunting flags I sent. All were made from greenhouse glass.bunting flags

And one more quote to keep me moving though a difficult week.

“The creative is .png

Now go create ….

Cheers
